For a long time, the "phenomenon time" has become thematised in many different forms in the field of art. At the confrontation with the "phenomenon time" it became clear to me that in my experience of time whole sections of my/our life is shaped by certain events and especially by lasting experiences of inner or outer types. Being aware of this fact led to the concept of the "Focus pictures": the rectangular surface of the picture, the bottom of it, is the field of time, in which the events occur. The circle-form in the middle “focuses” the event, for instance an experience. These pictures therefore have all the same composition, but clearly differ in colours, way of painting and also in the different painting materials used. Finally, it is the title which determines the "focused topic" and is the key to the understanding of the picture.
